NATHUSIUS' PIPISTRELLE Pipistrellus nathusii
STATUS : New addition
A grounded bat found at Long Eaton on 5 June 2004 was identified as this species by members of the Nottinghamshire Bat Group: this is the first and so far only county record. There is a known breeding colony in Lincolnshire.
